Finally sold my truck and got a diesel. Found a good deal on a very nice and clean 04.5 duramax.

Nice looking truck. I keep going back and forth myself on upgrading my truck or just improving the one I have. It's an 03 Ram 3500 single rear wheel with the 5.9 HO. Would really like to soften the ride so I'm thinking airbags as a start. But it also needs other things.. Mainly new quarters as they have rusted like most dodge's do.

We just took in on trade a Chev Silverado 2500 HD 4x4 Z71 Duramax Diesel with 26,000 miles.
Also a 2006 Chev Avalanche LT Z71 4X4 crew cab. 70,000 miles. Both are pristine.

Thanks. I'm very happy with it. Went on a 400 mile trip with my boat and it done great. 12mpg hand calculated running 65-75 most of the time. As for my boat and trailer is a different story. Outdrive went out and had 2 flats on the way home.

Upgrading yours sounds like a good idea to me. Especially if it's mechanically sound. I like the idea of no vehicle payments.

I just did the fuel injectors this past winter. It is a cummins, which is a good thing. So far no issues with the tranny. I did replace the front end steering assembly with the upgrade kit through mopar to eliminate the death wobble. At this point I am looking at suspension work to smooth out the ride, new tires and body work. Nice thing is stuff can be done in stages when money permits. I also put a backup camera on the truck and wish I did that sooner. lol. But, no payments. Those go to my boat and Challenger RT.
