Wannabe I had a Duramax, I currently drive a Ford and if I went diesel again it would be another Duramax for sure. |

Be fair, the "roll out" of the new model brought an engine and tranny dating back to 2001......not exactly new parts there! :D

Just another Ford FYI....buddy had his ecoboost go boom last week. 2011 F150 crew 4X4, 42k miles. He is in his 50s, truck is bone stock/daily driver never tows/hauls anything big. Put pedal down to pass and traction control activated, truck shuddered and engine pushed a rod through the block. Ford is covering it under power train warranty.
