Reviving this thread. There are three guys listed here. I need Rochester NY area to Jersey shore, Manasquan area. Any good local ones to Jersey?

+1 - worked good for me a couple years ago to get a boat from AZ to MI.

Does a transporter need to be home based near the origin or destination?

Shipped a truck once via uship. Worked great.

Went with All Aboard Boat Transport . David, the owner did an awesome job and was very knowledgeable. They also happened to be from Jersey and right near me. That was a huge bonus because he put my boat from his trailer into the water for me .
