Default Trailer for a 42

I've got a deal locked down on a 42 fountain with no trailer. I have got a few quotes on new(manning, load master). Not super impressed on how much cheaper the load master was over the manning for what everyone says is an inferior trailer. Would like to find a cheap used one. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

Is the boat going to live on the trailer? Or only used twice a year to and from the lake? How much actual towing & trips are you going to make?
You cannot go wrong investing in a top quality trailer.

Very short tow to the lake(1mile) and a few road trips per year.

Go with the Manning then. You will not be disappointed.

Also, check these guys out too:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/t...xperience.html

So far, their product rivals Myco and Manning.

**I said that about McClain welded aluminum trailers a couple years ago; but I have changed my tune there. The couple I have seen age, have not aged well.**

Heads up:

There are two completely different companies that go by 'loadmaster'.
