Thats where I got my Curt Class V, on amazon. Paid around the same, it was for a chevy though. Anyhow, it fit great, and much beefier than the stock piece of crap. I also got a solid steel forged drawbar, and a 25k lb rated ball from the farm store. The 25k lb ball was like 25 or 30 bucks I think.

Also, you will also have to find another solution for your trailer hitch wiring location.
On each of my trucks, I have drilled (with a metal hole saw) to the left of the license plate, and installed one of these:

Mounting through the bumper improves your rear clearance, by moving that vulnerable part up to a protected area. When you drill through the bumper, make sure you paint the edges of your cut with POR-15 or another rust preventative. The flange of the electrical connector will cover the paint.

I've done the exact same process on 1 Avalanche 2500, 2 Chevy HDs, and 1 Ford Superduty.
I also like to run a lightbar on my trucks, under the tailgate. This is a great time to either splice or buy/add connectors to install the lightbar. Due to damage or for whatever reason, I've had to replace lightbars a few times, so it makes it much easier to swap them out when you add in a 4 or 5 wire flat connector under the truck specifically for the lightbar.

bumper connection is awesome. Just put a reese titan on my truck and was looking how to better mount the connection. fyi titan rated for 18k, bigger tow bar and bought a 20k ball.
Thanks.
Thanks.

A buddy just told he he has a brand new Putnam XDR true Class-V hitch, never installed for a 2006 Ford F-350.
Only issue is it's stuck in his lake rental house, and he won't be getting to it for a few more weeks. If anyone wants it, shoot me a PM and I'll help y'all out.
