Appears to be true, leaked and posted the other day:

You can get a Denali Crew Cab (4 full doors) in long & short beds, and long/DRW configurations. But that's it. I do not see them offering it in Extended Cab or Single Cab.

I think he meant, how long until you can actually go to the dealer and find one

Now that we have my original question answered, I just hope we can have these trucks on the street in a reasonable amount of time...

I placed an order for a 2017 Denali DRW 3500 and its supposed to arrive within 6-8 weeks... Im very anxious to see the difference in power, I currently have a 2500 Silverado LTZ with the latest duramax which I thought was plenty powerful before.

The latest generation diesels - from all the manufactures - make a ridiculous amount of useable, reliable power, decent fuel economy AND you can take one through a drive-thru.

It wasn't that long ago that the 7.3 'Stroke was the benchmark in terms of reliability, power, and mileage; they'd be anemic compared to what's being offered today.

We're approaching the point where it won't be so much about "how much will it pull ?" but rather "how much will the platform safely stop ? ".

The engineers and designers don't get enough credit; think where we'd be if they weren't handcuffed by all the federal regs & restrictions…

However, what's sad is we've been requesting info on the new D-Max for quite a while. Our rep was really proud when he emailed me this morning with links to a trucks.com article and a local news article referencing the Tx state fair. I replied that if the dealer body has to rely on the media for our info and he can't see what's wrong with that, I wasn't going to point it out him. I don't know how it is with Ford or Ram sharing this info with their dealers but maybe someone can chime in.
