How can you run out of a thing that is a less refined version of the other thing that is actually cheaper?
|
Diesel takes much less refining. So why is it so much higher?
Because the deep state (china) is trying to stop our production. Trucks, trains etc |

diesel is more expensive because the government makes them spend more money refining it to lower the sulfur content. Another great idea from big brother

ULSD is still refined less than Unleaded, home heating oil takes priority this time of year so the cost of diesel goes up. Plus, I think when its all said and done, more diesel is used overall by far when you factor in all commercial use. Supply and demand at its finest. The other president still had a better handle on this...

Shortage is all shenanigans these guys play, nobody knows what's gonna happen. Election year they try to look good lowing gas prices but I they kept gas high and lowered diesel prices it would help out on cost of goods for average house hold. Bull**it administration.

My Cummins gets parked for the winter anyhow, going away next week.
But I've been thinking about buying a Mercedes diesel sedan. These diesel prices are surely dissuading. |
kinda off topic…but I wish car companies in the US would offer more diesel options. Virtually all of them discontinued sales within the last 3-5 years.
Europe gets them but we don’t…guessing it’s because of the stringent pollution laws? Or do they not sell? |
we have a diesel Mazda cx5 it get in the 30smpg i do think it was discontinued its a 2019
