Thanks for all the help, I needed to get the boat moved so we welded the spindle on for now as a temporary repair. Yes I’m familiar with the location of integrity trailer, I’ll check them out as I need to go through the trailer and make sure it’s reliable.

Dont bother welding it up. Just replace it. I had that happen to an old Eagle triple axle under my old Scarab. We were down in LOTO at the time. Found a local welder and he welded it up...looked great until we put the wheel on and put some weight on it. Moved about 10' and the whole thing tilted out and broke off again. I just used a chain and hoisted the axle up to make sure it didn't hit anything and drove home to Chicago like that. We blew two tires along the way on that side but made it home ( I had two spares that trip if your doing the math )

Midwest Truck and Auto, across the road and to the east of Ingerity, has rebuilt a bunch of trailers for our customers and have done a Great job. From bunk replacement or recarpeting to brake and axle work. They have also done a bunch of our personal boat trailers.

this is best option



Seriously..axles are cheap overall
Just watch for made in weird places..
If it comes complete. Repack and re torque the wheel bearings. .

Did this axle have all the bends in it?

I am working on get ahead of any problems and am looking for at least one. My boat trailer maker (2001 model) apparently only does cargo trailers now.

Debating whether to weld a new spindle on to my custom powder coated axle or try to replicate it..
