I used to watch that show all the time, I could care less now. They've beat this custom bike thing to death (not just OCC but all the shows).Originally Posted by buyafountain.com

I don't know how much of this bike they made but they are starting to make more then they used to. They moved into a new facility and have some new equipment. Originally Posted by rainmn

That Rick guy has made some gas tanks and oil tanks that look pretty good. I think they were taking some bashing for just being an assembly plant and not a custom shop.

Big Paul owned a steel fabricating shop for years before they started doing bikes. It's not like they are trying to prove that they can work steel. They have done more and more ground up custom fab lately. Originally Posted by rainmn

Is starting with flat sheet metal and tube steel legit enough? Or do they need to make the steel in the first place, ala foundry?
I agree with the guy who said that the Cat bike is fugly.
But to act as if OCC only decorates bikes is just perpetuating the same line of OCC bashing that has been around for a year or more. That argument has expired.
Now, are some of the bikes ugly? Yep.
thats great If you call owning a steel fabricating shop twising up some wrought iron fencing
Anywho,, yes,, they certainly were known as bike assemblers and 9 times out of ten times they purchased the tanks, wheels, motors, fenders, frames, and just accessorized them.. I do give them more credit now,, they are pretty much building the bikes from the ground up.. BOUT TIME !! sick and tired of listening to JR. blow smoke up his own ASS about how he fabricated this and designed that.. Rick has most of the fabrication talent in that shop..
Lincoln bike was purty..
PS.. just bustin on yah Fund..

I think that's why Senior gets so mad at his son and his work ethic. The old man payed his dues and took the $ risk to start the both companies, his son on the other hand, thinks his sh*t doesn't stink and he is the brains behind the operation. The Lucky Sperm syndrome.

Campo
Rick
Vinne
even Cotey
seem to be very talented

Not a problem. I'm not a fan of the show. Originally Posted by Chris288

But I can see how people get jealous because the OCC boys are on TV.
If they didn't have a TV show, nobody would give a poo what percentage of what was done by who.
I liked a couple of the bikes. Mostly I don't.
I will give them credit for merchandise savvy.
Only the band KISS sells more crap with their logo on it.

Isn't Rick and Campo the same guy?
