Say anything you want, assemblers, hacks, but those boys are
knockin down some serious bucks. That aint easy to do in any
type of business these days. Hats of to them for that. Dont forget,
It might be nice to hand fabricate everything, but its harder than hell
to make money doin it.

I like some of what OCC puts out. Check out: covingtonscyclecity.com
Purchased one from them before the chopper craze began. These guys remind me of the guy down in Alabama; Sleeper town, low keyed, great product , does it right!

They do make some inexpensive models. Maybe thats what your friends
had. Don't get me wrong, I have seen some of there bikes I wouldn't
touch. I have a 121 cu in TP motor, Accutronics, Hawg Halters etc.

I just like it and really don't care if other people do.
Again..I got it before all the hoopla. I own it and am glad that if I do
sell, someone could finance if they had to. You can't on a lot of these
customs.
Nice ride! And like most things I am sure that it's of better quality since it was "pre-hoopla". My buddies had some good $$$ tied up in their rides and were pretty disappointed, sold - took at good hit - and moved on. Yeah, I do have a soft spot for HD's (owned two in the last few years). For customs, I like the smaller guys that have a bit more skin in the game I guess, when you go "hollywood" you tend to loose some of the quality you had before - IMO.

About as much as I am of hearing on every forum that OCC, Jesse James and such are just assemblers using somebody else's parts, DUH , WTF do you think Harley Davidson, Big Dog, Iron Horse, Bouquet and the rest do, the only way to make money on building customs is to assemble them from somebody else's parts, give it a rest already. jeez

I know what you mean.

I like member Mike 35 Fountains bike. I know he doesn't care, but I think it's one of my favorite OCC bikes that I have seen.
I don't prefer the theme bikes.

Maybe they can do a KISS bike and they could tie their marketing together.

Unveil it at a concert. Do promos with Paulie and Paul, Mikey and Vinnie in Kiss makeup.

It's a natural.

Some people seem to be too ignorant to understand what a "theme bike" is. If I want a motorcycle for the fire department I want it to signify something to do with "a fire department". I don't want it to look like a crack dealing hells angel's motorcycle...h*ll every custom builder builds one of those

If rotor rootor wants a theme bike it's probably going to look like chit...literally

I don't remember reading anything ignorant in the people's opinions above. People seem to know exactly what a theme bike is, and they tend to not like them. Just because they think that the theme bikes are usually ugly doesn't mean that they don't understand what a theme bike is.

Be specific, tell us which fellow OSO member that you are calling ignorant.

Like I said in an above statement. I also find most of the theme bikes ugly from a traditional motorcycle standpoint. Some people seem to think these things are going out for sale to the general public though. I thought the aircraft bike they did was ugly as h*ll but from a "theme" standpoint I respect the work they did and think it came out great for what they were trying to accomplish.

I wasn't flaming on any individual person in this thread and If it came out that way...sorry. Just general statements that came across in a different manner.
