Thanks Full Force. Hard to make any real progress at this point since boat is an hour away in Marblehead. I'll be there for a long weekend over xmas breat. Will try to at least get things unboxed and organized.

Some of us OSO guys are meeting at Brew Garden in Middleburg hts tomorrow night at 7 for some drinks and chat if you wanna meet up...

How thick is the alum and what type of framing did you use.( Impressive)

The alum is not super think but thick enough that it doesn't flex. Definitely not sheet metal. I don't know how to describe exactally. IF you were to hold a 4X8 sheet of it, it would be significantly thinner than a 1/4 plywood but would not flex in the middle.

The framing is a 1X2 box grid on the bottom side. Tig welded to top so it is all one piece. Very strong.

Good thing I kept with a somewhat retro look because it would definitely have gone through a few style cycles before I get it wet.

Is there a velocity run this year? I'm a new owner to a 89 Steve Stepp 30 out of Monroe MI. Boat looks great. Getting ideas for the winter on mine.
