The main dif is these wheels are 2k a piece. I talked to kenny and steve about it and they are sure they'll nail the setup....without spending all of O D's hard earned money

The R&D nut falls between Velocity and Mercury Racing, hence the pace. My expense is for the finished functioning product. Still waiting on a Merc for new prop and lower unit with longer skeg. Hell, at this rate, I'll have an '08. I'll keep you posted.

Prop came in Monday, long skeg lower unit on Tuesday. Steve tested yesterday and got 86 @ 5150 rpm, dead calm, 85degrees, 3/4 fuel, and 2 people. Still need to make a few tweaks, including air flow to rear where the intake is. Also need to trim the remote water pick up, which is causing some prop slip. Should see 90 soon.

It sounds good so far. I'm sure the tweaking will put you over 90, especially in better conditions. I'll bet you're dying to get out in it!

O-D the I'm taking the family to that run also, be sure to look me up when you get there. First cold ones on me. I have a burgady+pink 280.
