Thanks Hyper, I checked the oil after the mishap, oil looked just like it did when it came out of the bottle and it did 2 days ago. I'll be letting Leon at Derebery Performance do my swap, he has done me right in the past and has some good help. I need to call him and set it up, Leon might even have some interesting HP to sell in his shop he usually does.

VV,

Sorry to hear you and your motor had a misunderstanding, you really need some of them blue ones.

Only money, just glad it happened to me and not someone I sold the motors to. I'd feel worse if that happened.:cool-smiley-027:

16 year old Daughter wrecked her car yesterday, I guess you could say this is a bad week for VV, She's OK and didn't hit anyone else. Wiped out a couple road signs, ended up in the ditch. Tore the left front wheel off and some side damage. I guess her Mom was right a Camaro convertible with a Vette motor was a little much for her first car. I though it was a cool first car! So she's on the trailer too. Hee! She had her drivers license 2 days.

Glad she's ok. You need to swap that car out for a 1993 Dodge Shadow for a couple of years then give her the hp.

When she pays to get this on fixed, I'll mention that. Untill then she's without. That will be the best for her, It's obivious she's not ready. I think you should be 18 to drive anyway.

vec, sounds like a bad run.... it'll change for the better ...glad your daughters okay... my first was a 67 camaro with a 350, 17, and i thought i knew everything, months later smacked it sideways into the back of a taxi...
good luck on your motor search!!

VV,

Consider yourself very fortunate, a car can be replaced, a child can not. Glad she's ok.

I could not agree more.

Very Lucky I agree, I lost a 19 year old nephew. He hit a telephone pole at 40 mph and didn't make it. If something happened to her I wouldn't make it either.
