Default Baja shootout

Brunswick Announces Sale of Baja Marine Assets to Fountain Powerboats
Brunswick said that as part of the deal, it was ending production of Baja boats at its Bucyrus, Ohio, plant and eliminating about 285 jobs.

Anyone going to the Baja shootout?
I heard a couple Baja's are going upward of 162 MPH

Why would you make such a stupid comment ? How fast is your 32 Velocity ? I have a 32 Baja that runs pretty strong and there are some other Baja owners on this site that run very well.

Then you will be behind me also as my old resin bucket Baja runs a little faster than JT. My complaint with you is it seems that you started this thread to bash Baja's. Your comment about 62 and now 66 has to do with HP and a none stepped hull not the boat itself.
So why not post your HP and speed since you seem to think all Baja's are slow so we can see how many Baja's will be waiting up for you if you decide to come and watch the shoot out. I know there are some fast velocity's out there but if yours is not 1 of them you should not talk about any other brand of boat and speed

Hopefully, Brunswick and Fountain will be able to offer positions to those 285 Baja employees...Searays and Center-consoles are everywhere.
