I would like to find out where the first and last stops are.We we're talking about boating on friday. For me it might be easier to find a place to tie up for a night or 2 .Loading my boat on its trailer is not something that I do very often , or very well. Thanks, Ray

This might be a hard question to answer but how far is the run and any idea how much fuel is burned buring the run? I have a 2005 Baja 275 with the 496 mag. We still want to come down and be part of the event but with the price of gas the way it is right now we are guessing fuel alone driving down and back to Indiana plus filling up the boat we would be around $1000 and we don't have a lot of extra cash to spend.
If we can't make it this year hopefully the price will come down and you guys will have the run again next year and we can try to make it.
Thanks.

The run was about 80 miles last year, and will probably be about the same this year. I know a lot of people that barely burned a 1/4 tank, if that.
This is not an all out, on the wood run. Pace boats are in control the whole way. We basically give you a guided tour of the lake, then after the run people can go run the lake or go some where and hang out.

Thanks, I'll share that with my wife and maybe we will still try to make it.
We've been on the lake once and that was when they had the last raft-up. It's a lot bigger then Lake Wawasee that we boat on.

The host hotel is the Comfort Inn located in Cornelius, NC
Their phone number is 704-896-7622. Rooms are held under "CPBA". The address is 16521 LiverPool Pkwy, Cornelius, NC
I believe the rooms are $79 per night and it is across the street from Race World where the Saturday night party will be held. (Michael Waltrips Shop)
