Had a nice visit at the factory with with Steve , Kim and Kenny . They are still doing great work down there . I am going to have to save some money and have him build me a new one some day . We were talking 700's but , I told him Bob's thinks 1075's of course . Always nice to get input from you Bob . Where upgrades and over the top are expected .

It's good to see they are still moving forward. I've spent many good times with Steve and Kim over the years. They are one of the many reasons why I've enjoyed 3 VELOCITYS over a 25 year period. Very good people. Ray you know me, a VELOCITY can never have to much power. You always seemed to use all the power you had. So I would say we are both over the top, as expected.

I noticed that with most Velocity owners and their power , to much is still not enough . We all seem to share the need for speed , and lots of it . A lot of us trying to squeeze out any little extra we can . Another common interest with most of us Velocity guys . I know I am guilty , and probably need to do more self medicating .

I look at it like this, in an overpowered Velocity the engines have to work less hard and actually saves the life of the engines. Big HP can run bigger props, cruise the same speed with a lot less rpms, thus my theory. My 320 likes 70 to cruise, I can cruise 70 @ 3800 rpms now with 34's where before and 496's @70 was like 4500 rpms with 30's. I feel like I'm trying to convince my wife for more power. See honey numbers don't lie... Which engine is going to last longer the 3800 rpm engine or the one running 4500 rpms? I would like to get that 70 mph number down to 3000 rpms....

Question here would be .... "Does she perform better since the upgrades?"
