41' prop?
Finally close to getting my 41' in the water again and starting to think about what prop to start with. Have procharged 540's with rite at 750hp and -2 sportmaster xr's. What are your thoughts on props?
Before ran 80mph with stock 500's and 4 blade 30 pitchers.

Well, ended up not getting on plane with above setup and Hydro 33" 5 blades 15" dia. I put the standard lowers on and went 94mph close to 5000 rpm. Drives were all the way in. I am adding 2" spacers to get the Sportmasters to dig in. I want to trim some and be at 5200 rpm. Was thinking of trying a 34" P-5x, or a 33" p-5. Which would be a better fit? remember lowering the drives 2". Thanks

If its a stock x dim. use a 1 in shorty it work best. but you have to run a 5 blade. to get the boat up on plane.
we allways ran hydros done buy Mike at Halls. I like the drives towed in 1/8 in.

Boat runs great. I went with the 2" spacers and Maximus 32s for mid range performance. I also have a set of 33s hydros. Trimmed out running just north of triple digits. However the almost nonexistent diffuser ring makes getting on plane a chore.
