[QUOTE=Kings11;3755604]I have a 32' Advantage Victory going together hopefully this winter if things work out with 556ci big blocks. It should dance to 100 mph.

Yes those will wake her up:evilb:

I think she has more in her as we ran 90 with half fuel and 6 people on board. I just need to get some 33's or 34's and see if we can turn them.

How is that mph possible? I know v hulls are fast buuut.

I have learned instead of changing props just buy the biggest size then add Horse Power to get the speed you are looking for.

Here's my sh!t getter... :evilb: :evilb:

It'll run over 100 and get there in an instant.

Nice shot! Exactly how small is the pad on the Allison- must be pretty short if we can't see it in that picture. :cartman:

It's longer than it appears. Probably 4 or 5 feet and about 11"-12" wide.

Don't think my truck could get it up that fast on the highway, so only other place to do it is the water:lolhit:

3 of us were in the boat...I throttled and Steve Stepp himself was at the wheel! Can't wait to get back up to Lake Monroe and try for triple digits.

I have been lucky enough to be out with the Poppa boys a few times, Still Crazy runs real good with stock HP 500 carb motors!

Back when Steve built these in the 80's , a standard 30' velocity w/420's would run 85 mph . Fast foward 25 years and put 500 HP's in and new prop tech , then those numbers seem reasonable . Now imagine what the results would be building a new light weight one with 525's :evilb:

Also try to find a pair of 26" Hydro Q4's. They are roughly the same pitch as 28" Bravo's and typically add a 1-2 MPH on a twin and will spin your engines a little faster. The factory equipped the 32's with Hydro Q4's. Best of luck with your project.

Stupid question on this.

How are the 26 pitch hydros as fast or faster as a 2 pitch larger size bravo at the same RPM?
