Why do some 260 and 280 velocitys have plastic windscreens while the others have glass with a frame

I think they are merely different options. I prefer the tinted plexiglas windscreen look where-as others prefer the wind-shield look. Some didn't have either one.

The Lexan wind sheilds also came in a couple sizes. I'm not real fond of the framed wind sheilds.

I have the framed wind shield on my 290 and I am not a big fan of it.

I've got a metal fame wind shield and full camper top I've not ever installed.
If someone wants it, make me an offer...
