That boat runs real flat you don't have to trim it as much as a regular VR 1. We did a lot of bottom work to it. The 29 hydro was done by Mike at Hulls it has a lot of transom lift in it. Same prop I ran on my 390. With adding weight to the boat I would drop back to a 27 hydro. Mike has my other one at his shop. Should still run close to 80 mph.

Still in paint booth but plastic removed. Have not seen it sun light but color was matched to the interior (future interior). Much work to go...

Tom,
I'll definitely check out the 27 prop. I'll need it to plane fairly quickly. I'll be going out with Kenny with it when its done since I've never even been in a Velocity.

I hope the interior isn't too heavy. Front seat bases are billet aluminum and the cabin will be only a V birth and seating, unless plans change. Although, I'm sure the pounds will add up.

Good luck with it! Saw Kenny last week, and it sounds like it'll really nice once finished up. The guys at Velocity are top notch and always willing to help. They will take great care of you.

Stick with the Hydromotive prop. Try the 29 it was set up to run on the rev.lim. at 5600 RPM. light on fuel. If its to much witch I'm pretty sure it will be call me. It jumped on plain with the 29. put the tabs all the way down and nail it! It realy needs a 5 blade hydro.

As reference, these are some pics before it was brought to Velocity-before the wrap was removed and the interior ripped out.

The boat needs a bow light but this is not going to work.
