Thanks for all the info guys, unfortunately the boat wasn't what was expected. As far as the motors go the were 500 bulldogs with carbs, it wasn't listed properly.

Assuming they are in good condition there is nothing wrong with Bulldogs.

The bulldogs are good motors and the 41' is a great ride . I owned a 30 and a 41 , both had speedmasters with big power and handled amazingly well . I recommend a 41 if you want a big cabin and a 39 if you don't . Same bottom on both
