Hey guys trying to get as much info as I can on this boat, as I have never been in one. How do these compare as far as performance, big water, and quality. Boat has 500mpi bulldog motors, what kind of speeds can I expect from it as well. I have read some speeds with minimal power that are very impressive with velocity boats.

One has already been found locally that is complete, which is why I am asking the questions to get more info. The price seems very good to get into a big fast boat. Looking for how these perform in the rough and how they compare to say a fountain, top gun, hustler, Donzi, etc. also the quality of the builds as well. Velocity's don't have a big footprint here, atleast I haven't seen many.

the one kid apache has was owned by a very good friend of mine. when he had it with the 600sc's and #6 drives it was a wave smashing 11,000lb machine that ran 99mph. i wouldnt plan on going out and beating the death out of a 41 in big water with bravo's cus they are heavy boats and you will kill your drives. great boats tho!!

See I have seen that they are pretty light for there size. As far as the bulldog motors go it just saw what the add says, I am unfamiliar with the bulldog motor. I am just trying to get a good comparison on this boat and how it will handle. Will be boating off the Chesapeake bay, so 4 and 5 footers is very rough for our water. I know a fountain can throw the tabs in the water and cruise at 65 without a problem in those conditions. Just curious how these boats handle that stuff. The boat seems is light for the size, and outs up pretty good speed numbers per HP value, so my thought is it is a light flatter bottom boat which doesn't make for the best in rougher conditions. I could be wrong. Which is why I am here asking the questions to guys that have experience with them.
