On to the next project of cockpit flooring. I've decided to go with Deckadence. It's 1/2" thick PVC flooring that's waterproof and offers a lot of cushion for the feet. Their "white" is actually cream and goes perfectly with the cream vinyl. I think we're going to embed a logo that says "390" in front of the rear bench in orange, too. I also have a runner being made for the cabin floor out of gray Infinity Wicker Weave vinyl that should help hide all the stuff the black carpet shows.

More trailer projects. I installed a proper v-block bow stop, a new winch stand, and a new winch. I had this same setup on a Loadmaster trailer for my last boat and really liked it. Loadmaster was reluctant to sell it to me since this trailer is a Float-on. I did have to install another 3X3" crossmember to make it work, but it turned out great.

The Deckadence flooring is finally ready to pick up. I should have it installed this weekend. Mitcher T was kind enough to create a "390" vector file using the same font he used for the "Velocity" logos on the boat. The flooring guy uses a CNC router to make the logo stencil and then cuts the material by hand. We couldn't get any orange material, so I went with black. The rest of the lettering on the boat is black, anyway.

Looks to me like this boat found the right owner.

My phone's camera does not capture how creamy the cockpit looks. I told the wife we need to change the name of the boat to "Cream Dream", but I got shot down.
