Looks and sounds amazing!! I appreciate your attention to detail. Hard to believe there is only 1000 HP behind that docile idle!! Looking forward to your water tests.

Looks awesome! How far below the bottom is the propshaft with the standard lower?

I noticed the 5 blade prop and was curious (considering your x-dim isn't elevated) why you selected that over a 4 blade? Better high speed tracking or pushing through the rough? Cruising efficiency? I plan to reprop my 280 this summer so was curious about your perspective. That said I can't remember when I last ran my "speed props" on the 390!

Any cavitation issues getting on plane, some times they will aerate the prop, happened to me on a single, you can raise that drive shower pickup at least an inch so that just the hole is beneath the plate

It's a Hydromotive P5x 25 pitch that came with the boat..
It's going to be pretty small of a prop with the new power but didn't want to change EVERYTHING at once in case there are issues.

I liked it better than the Cutting Edge 4 blade 28 pitch I tried..

The 5 blade gets on plane easier, has MUCH better docking maneuverability, better cruise speed, and still would run 71 MPH with the stock engine .

When I go to test the boat I'm also bringing along a 34 pitch Bravo I..

So... The BEST running prop I tried today WAS my 25 P5x..

It's too small, but pulled HARD to redline...

I also had a LH 34 Bravo which was just too big,

and a LH 30 Bravo, but THIS particular prop has NEVER run good on anything I've put it on for some reason....

I have to do more research to see if a P5X of the correct pitch is going to help my drive blow prematurely (as 1000 hp isn't enough of an issue for an XR)
