Yes, just yanking your chain a little. I know you are interested in both runs, no problem.
I am concerned about the water conditions, they do not sound good. That area has been flooded for over a month. The PRA run canceled.

i honestly think I'm going to pass on both runs. I wish I could make it up to the battleship run but it's been hectic here at the compound. "My house" lol new barn just went in and trying to get it outfitted for all the toys.

How was battleship run? I missed it. Busted my tail trying to get ready but missed it by a few days. My boat is up and running again, finally, what an undertaking . I have a slip rented at the islands from the 11th to the 20th so I can't make the Buffalo run. I did want to meet some people for first time. I have a friend who is staying in alexandria Bay now. He told me water has come down 8-10 inches. Should be better by then anyway. I was planning on the Buffalo run. But my better half I and have a great time at pirate days, plus I'm already booked

We had four Velocities - the 36' Viper boat, a 290, Padraig's VR1 and my 280. Velocity represented about 10% of the field. The temperature was around 74 as it was mostly overcast during the run. The water ranged from flat to a light wind chop to make things a little more interesting. All boats started and finished. The skies cleared in the afternoon for an ideal picnic and outside awards ceremony. The ROPA folks were very gracious and welcoming to those of us that came from out of state. As I said before - a long, frequently uphill tow for us to get there but worth it.
