Motor is done and got fired up for the first time in the boat today. Dynoed right at 700hp on 87 octane. Everything from the bulkhead back is pretty much new. Entire engine, transom assembly, transom itself, and outdrive. Did closed cooling on this motor as well. Sounds killer, should be in the water next weekend

Wow! Sounds/looks great! That's alot of work completed right there. Good choice on the closed cooling. Makes system soo much better. Thermally stable, no corrosion.

Yea we do a mix of salt and fresh water so with aluminum heads figured it was money well spent

And on the dyno making pull after pull the temp stayed 169-171*
