Just bought a Vr1 any advice?

Barn find VR-1, and as a 1st boat...life is good for you ! 
Hold off on power upgrade for a while....it will take some time to learn how to drive that boat anyway...and not all owners of them get the hang of running on the pad,,even after some years go by.

Thanks! I got really lucky even with the price 30k. But negotiated that with buying his house as well for the garage. I don’t have the ability to build a garage on my property as the original was converted to more living space and out back is pool/septic field. Most likely rent the house out. I’ll get more pics up soon of whole boat.

Lol he’s got a house in Florida and couldn’t wait to move permanently, I’m always so busy I never really talked to him too much I probably could have bought it years ago. I normally don’t have good luck so this was crazy that it’s all working out. Found another pic my kid helping get in the
