Default Rebuild a VR1-Hull

Hi,

i have buyed a empty hull of a VR1.
So it will be a lot of work!

Like the VR1 a ITS- or Extension-Box with or without shorty?
How much is the difference?

I'm very grateful and interested in all of your recommendations and tips!!!

Thanks
Timm

Quite the project you are undertaking...

You reside in Northern Germany by chance (RD or RDG)?

Congrats! Please tell us more about the hull. Was it ever rigged? I have a VR i but it has standard Bravo XR not a shorty I am sure others will pitch in with pros and cons of a shorty vs standard. If you need pics of how my VR 1 is rigged....Let me know.

Good luck,

Padraig

No biggie. It's a 2500.

Many use small tractors to move complete boats around the flat part of yard / boat yard.

Hi Padraig,
I´m verry interested of all detail pics of the VR1.
How shows the engine mounts? where is the original position of trim pumps? Whats the original high of the seats?
So much questions...

The pre owner says it´s a stolen boat.
Build in 2003, stolen in 2006 and only the hull is sold in 2009 from velocity USA to the pre owner.

This was the original design 2003

This was the design in 2009

The pre owner sanded the red paint.
