Blackhawk on a 23'?
I blew out the Bravo drive and the price to fix/replace is Big $$$. I found a deal on a Blackhawk. The guy is going to check the ratio. Has/does anyone have one on? The boat is a regal 23', the motor is being rebuilt and will be in the 450-500hp area.
Thanks-

The Blackhawk Was Designed As A "surface Drive" And Was A Pretty Good Drive But Did Not Sell Well. It Performed Well On Some Boats And Was A Dog On Others. Parts Are Hard To Find And Expensive If One Breaks!! I Would Stick To The Bravo Drive And Have It Rebuilt With Improved Components That Are Available. The Regal Velocity 230 Is A Great Boat With Outstanding Looks And A Good Cabin For It's Size. Steve Step Should Bring That Model Back Into Production, However, I Don't Think Regal Would Appreciate It!!!!!!!!
