Re: general info
We're men around here, I wasn't offended by anything implied or posted.
My speed in the upper 60's is verified by a hand held GPS that I borrowed from my neighbor. I could be wrong about the prop pitch. For what it's worth, you can tell someone put a little tlc into the prop blades.
Upon purchase, I drained the fuel tank, replaced the OB fuel line, fuel filter, 2 fuel pumps, had all 3 carbs professionally cleaned and rebuilt, replaced the plugs & wires and had Ocean Beach Marina in Lavallette fine tune the carbs. The boat was sitting for 2 years prior to my purchase and the fuel in the tank and motor was badly varnished. I have no idea how much the boat weighs, but I saw the speeds with me (230 lbs), 9 gallons of high test fuel and a coast guard package on board. Nothing I don't need.
Tony, I live in Bergen county and go to our shore house in Toms River every chance I get. Keep in touch and we'll BS boats over some drinks.
