I have a 509, stock rod, and crank making 9.2:1. Im looking for a cam that would work with this that's in good shape. something that will idle nice at low rpms (around the docs). I don't have a carb or intake yet. I was hoping to find a set of Johnson lifters. Victor Jr intake or similar. this is a very budget build, otherwise id order new, its just not in the cards. If anyone has a combination that worked well for them, please let me know.

btw engine is a gen 6 roller 502 that is bored 4.500

yes I do have the dog bone lifters but I think they are weak.
