I know a local marina went to a prop repair shop that supplied shafts to the inboard cruiser market...
The shop made the center section of the tie-bar from a cut off from a previous prop shaft job and cut the threads for the clevis' ends... a lot cheaper and faster than ordering a tie bar assembly as its just basic machining to punch the order out the door.
