Looking for an old dist to convert into a oil pump drive tool. Idea is to remove cam gear and cut top off the dist shaft so I can attach a 1/2" drill. Don't need pickup coil, reluctor, etc.

any small or big block dist will work just cut the teeth of the gear

​​​​​​​The ones I remember had a roll pin attaching gear to shaft.Drive out the pin and the gear slides right off.
