28p prop on 28 diablo
I just picked my boat this weekend got 10 hours and tried full throttle and I only got 3800 rpm, I was told it should achieve 4800rpm. It has a 496 HO /28 BRAVO 1 bravox drive with 150to 1 ,now I also had about a hundred gallons of fuel and seven adults was that the problem or to much prop ?

hey speedy i worked at warlock since 97, and up until this January i build every diablo. check the throttle linkage. disconnect the cable at the throttle body and give the throttle lever full throttle leave it there. now by hand give the throttle body full throttle by moving the linkage see if they line up. it may need to be adjusted any question e-mail me [email protected]
