We're gettin pounded right now with that damn weather. Moor's probably will be closed for a few more weeks. My campground doesn't open until around St. Patty's Day, Moor's could be the same, but not sure.
The place that Mitch (Mama Tryed) speaks of is pretty nice too. It's about a 2 minute drive to KY Dam marina. It's also a 2 minute drive to I-24 which is the way you'll be coming in. KYDM has the biggest slips on this side of the lake so I'm sure they can accomodate you.

you can have it ... I'll try the state park and see if they have a web site ... so moors party place is a 2 min drive back by land .. chit i hate drivin after just 1 cocktail ..how bad back to the state park by water ??? water policia ? 3 days of tickets & hassles in LOTO and paranoia has set in ...thnx for the help ..looks like a nice lake you guys have up there

Moor's is a pretty good drive on land and about 10 minutes from the Dam by boat. It's tricky going back and forth though because of the channel. Some people just go straight through though.
I think the big poker run party is at Kentucky Dam Marina on Friday night, right Mitch? The Moor's is a campground with some cottages that'll be pretty hopping on Friday and Saturday night.
KDM and the place that Mitch recommends is real close to the interstate. The Moor's is about 10 miles or a little more off the interstate.

nothin on GOOGLE for ky dam park resort , will try to do the state park resort dont want to do the water run back to the room at no 3-4 in the morn ....
