Default Loud Exhaust

I was wondering what all could be done to make the exhaust louder on my 97 Hammer. Anything cheap and possibly something I can do myself would be what I'm looking for

Pantera24-650HP - thats what I'm looking for my friend. I see the plate you are talking about...question is how would you recommend doing it? Sounds like you have experience doing it. I know I'll tear something up...so any suggestions will help

How about a set of "pulling truck" headers that point straight up out of the hatch?

I might end up doing that. More then likely it'll be too much of a pain to knock out the plate.....$145 is not too bad...plus the tips will look sweet. Any idea where you guys picked up the tips?

i saw tredwell motor sports had some for sale in the class, The last set were from cp performance . shop around some of the dealers in hot Boat and Powerboat. make sure they have the rebuildible flappers inside.do a search on tips , you might find someone that just put headers on . make sure on size.

Yes - I just did this on my twins, took 45 minutes complete. You could not remove the internals on one corsa in that time with a plasma cutter just order new tips with diverters inside. I went with corsa #1100's, they are approx. $200 pair and fit in the exact same bolt hole pattern. These are the 4" lenght w/45 degree cut. Added bonus, I picked up 200 rpm (HO's)

Thanks for the link Rob. I'm trying to pick up those tips...assuming they have internal flappers and they'll fit my hammer. If not I'll just buy a set later.....I've pretty much ruled out cutting them. Are they pretty easy to install? I've never done it so I don't have a clue.
