Offshore water pick-ups

Any experiance installing through hull pick-ups [Type & location] on 36 Spectre Cat? I am re rigging with KPM 12" Sea Strainers and KPM 2 stage Raw water pumps for 1200 HP Blower motors.

I forgot, Stainless Marine "Heads-up" Trim Display. Great Idea but you just can't get a acurate reading. The cables are realy cheap and the system needs to be redesigned.

Fionn, Thanks for the reply. I have looked everything over, note that this is brand new set-up. When I got the boat back from the rigger the trim buttons worked in reverse, so I switched the lines....

Help, Konrad Drive Trim

One of my drives won't stay trimmed, keeps wanting to creep up. It makes for a miserable ride at high speeds.

I have replaced the entire pump, and looked over everything.

Any suggestions?

Last year I ran 650HP Motors wBrovo drives @1.35 and no 34 props @5650RPM. Top speed was 118gps.
Now 5800RPM, 900HP, 1.21 Drives. Looking for 145-150 gps.Steve

The motors are 900 dyno HP, with the new Konred 540 drives at 1.21 final ratio. The tranmissions are Huber 1550.

I haven't measured the X-demension, or prop centerline.

I have no problems bring the boat on plain. I really don't even need to use the trim tabs. This is totally due to the 5 blade's....

380 Top Speed

After installing Sportmaster's 2" shorter from Max Werks.

Top speed 94GPS, no faster no slower. I will install 1" spacers this weekend to see if any change.
