what do you mean by DQ for time? The rules say that you have to make 2 passes with 15 minutes max between them. If you do that how can your times be DQ'ed?

What qualifying of speeds??? The Kilo rules are very specific on length, timing, and time between runs.

If Fountain goes out and runs an average of the two passes at 190.00, and OL goes out and...

I know that the other Fountains were done by Skater. But the current RR is a Fountain hull.

I really HATE to have to agree with Shane on anything :eek: , but I agree 100% that its all about Ego. Be it Reggie or the owner of SR or any of the other super cats, People don't spend that kind...

I have no idea what running 1-2-3 has to do with someone running the Kilo. I didn't write the SBI rules. I wasn't questioning you on that, I was just pointing out that this isn't a Fountain...

We just jumped to a different subject. We all know that there is no "love" between OL and Fountain. But in your above post, you are talking about a RACE. I thought this thread was about the KILO...

A different situation, in my opinion. Course Mike can always go out in the ocean and then show us a gps reading of 200 and say that OL is the fastest :drink:

Unless the rules have changed since 2004 when Reggie set the current record, the rules were changed then to allow OuterLimits to run with a non race boat. So if changed then, why wouldn't they...

This is not a Fountain Kilo run. Its an SBI run. It may be in the river by the Fountain factory, but its not "reggie's run"

Based on those rules, the OL boat would not have qualified 2 years ago, but it would have been let run if they paid the entry fee. The Bud Select boat qualifies with no issues. I think he's...

Read the kilo info. They are highly recomended. Plus all the other safety equiptment that the rules say MUST be there.

It was $10K last time too. Its not a new cost that Fountain made up. He has to pay the entry fee too. You want it to be free to the other guys? Figure out how much just the chopper fuel costs for...

RR is a Fountain hull, not a Skater. I think you are confusing Fountain and Cigarette :drink: :drink:
