I suggested compounds not for pressure but to have a very wide efficiency range, which would help with any smoke concerns.The waste gates are to keep the needed exhaust flow with tighter turbine...

My problem with a common rail setup for this application is the expense of components and lack of reliability. Injectors don't last 100k in a truck, how long are they going to last under full load...

1390 ft lbs at 3000 rpm. I tuned it to produce torque a little late and save the driveline a little.

common rails have great technology, until you need parts and see that 2 injectors cost as much as a set for a 12 valve. but yes 12v are stupid. If mechanical injection is the route you intend to stay...
