These are great coments. I am excited at the prospect of building my next boat. Brian, you will be the first person I ring when that time comes.....unless I can get a bigger boat slip, and that aint going to happen. One last question. Is the 28 as hard on bravo drives as, say, a 29 fountain with the same 750 hp?

Do you own your own slip? We leased ours thru port of kimb city & to move up to 36' slip is over double what our 24' slip was. Been a struggle to figure out how to keep a bigger boat down there. Ive only seen private slips in 30' length.
Yes, two 28' slips and one 24' slip. In two different docks. I dont mind if the boat sticks out a bit, but a boat long enough to justify twin motors would just get in the way of stuff IMO. A 28 AT or a 29 fountain would be about perfect for my future needs. Leasing a large slip from a marina isnt an option b/c our cabin is just yrds away from the boat docks right now. I would have to drive pretty far to the next marina which is gage's. Whats your story? |
Are you really comparing the A.T. 28 to a 29 Fountian????????? Not possible

I LUV my 28AT!! I have a twin 350magMPI boat & the ride should never be compared to a 29' fountain! i can run 55-60 in 3 footers and be comfortable...No chit it is a smooth ride. The boat is deeper, wider & longer than a 29' fountain or baja. In fact it is probably as long as a 32' fountain w/o the beak, or 30 baja w/o swim platform; but rides much better. The cabin is large and pretty nice; microwave, sink, head is a bit tight.

A microwave in a 28 :evilb: j/k.....thats pretty cool. Im sold on one. Pat, i'll take one as equipped on the first post. Im good for it right? You can have my boat.

Oh BTW Brian, What is your neighbor asking for his Donzi? I'm curious as what sort of price tag I should put on it. When I put the for sale sign on it, I want it to sell, but I don't want to give it a way...anyway, thanks

28AT w/496HO=64-66mph; 500efi=71/72mph;525efi=74/75mph & with twin 350's=72 mph(best so far, next year tweaking)
As for the hull change in 04', ask Pat or Cosmic12...I think it got a bit smaller, esp. in the cabin. |

I really like how clean it is, looks very well maintained, & that is a huge plus with me. I can apperciate someone who takes care of their boat in that manner...Think upper 60's with the headers? Bout the only turn off, is the steel trailer, but I suppose I'd just have to buy an aluminum one :D (Gulf Coast= Saltwater) |
Sorry, I don't...I look thru the classifieds periodically so I am familiar with the ad, that's all. With the CMI's you could see 68mph...boat looks clean and well maintained, will prob. get 52.5-55k for it. I may sell my boat end of season...thinking about 64k.
