I thought I saw a boat very similar to your avatar for sale in the classifieds. Was that your boat ?

yea that was me, i put 2 inch spacers on the drives and fell back in love with the boat. Last poker run i spanked 40 of the 42 boats at 102mph all day long.. going to keep it until next year,nobody has any money except one dude & he wanted to low ball me..... i will sell it next year or trade it in when the f..... banks start lending money again.

there is a difference in low balling ... or giving you a fair price for what the market is at and the customer wanting the boat now vs having to wait till spring to get it for the same price after you've put many more hours on it.. You can build a 184k 2010 model 496ho boat..which helps Pat keep the guys working through winter. It's all about survival right at the moment. More power like your's with 525's is 198k. Those are great deals.. same price when I bought in 2002... and resin has gone up, along with many other materials. It's all relative at this moment until the economy gets better.. and my personal opinion..spring will not be better...I pray I'm wrong. Think about your decision if you need a sale. What drive setup are you running ? we are looking at two different options and would love to hear your experience.

XRS for now,konrads when they hit the market in feb. it ran 106 mph before the 2inch spacers. lost a couple mph will run 102 mph with 7 people & half tank of full all day long or until a drive breaks...

525s with whipples 750 hp each 4 pounds at 5100 rpms

I thought about it and what i paid for the boat. 285,000 & then put 30,000 into it last year. to sell it for 160,000 was a little crazy. its paid off, so i don't need a new boat right now .Going to put the money into my business in a new location in philadelphia. i believe like you that we have 2 more years of this stuff with the banks. Until bank of america goes broke from most people not paying there credit card bills,it isn't over. i really do injoy being one of the fast guys, will keep it one more summer & then give it away. thanks. mike
