I think I actually like the nexrail trailers a bit better, but what do I know. I would talk to Pat and see what he thinks.:D

Jassman 03-13-2002 11:14 PM

I like the Myco, have to go with Aluminum though, and they are approx. 2k more.:(

What type of brakes are you (h20 and Jassman) looking at? Are you towing with a wieght carring or distributing hitch.:)

ToddW 03-14-2002 04:46 PM

My preference are disc. I currently have 4 wheel disc on my trailer and have no problems. Anyone else have an opinion on brakes disc vs drum? I guess I could search for a previous discussion on this, I am sure it has happened before

Are use using electric or surge brakes and do you boat in the salt or fresh, and do you use a wieght carring or distributing hitch. :D

We are going with electric surge brakes. I think they are disks, I mean they will be disks. We will use the boat in fresh water so the painted steel works best for us. I have got this thing for MYCO trailers. I am buying a premium boat and its going to live its life on a premium trailer.

We are also going with a dead weight hitch. I have an F350 Crew Cab Dually 4X4 with a Reese Titan Class V hitch. Not sure of the tongue weight, but I think the truck can handle the AT. I am sure the hitch can.

I guess if we are going to go on the thunderrun we will have to have the boat craned in.

h20,

I am sure that one little swim in some salt water will be just fine for your trailer.;) :D

ActiveThunderTodd 03-15-2002 01:41 AM

I have a Myco and really like it. I use it in salt a couple times a year. Just make sure u rinse iot off after every time it goes in the water. My trailer is showing some rust but not bad.

Hey Pat owns a body shop...hmm maybe he can do some touch up for me?? Guess I'll have to ask.
