I can't even beat the bolts out. Completely rusted in place. I am applying for Spanish galleon status with the coast guard my stuff is so rusted.

Think Merc will warranty it, it's only been 10 years.
Just tighten down on the clamp nuts....
It calls for 55lbs I'm pretty sure, but with that amount of slop tighten til it strips and back it off a 1/2 turn. Then go get another case of beer
Put a J-R Marine set up on my Tantrum. Ron Bender is a great guy

That much slack would've taken quite a cheater bar.
Bender is fun to work with. Hopefully going to start getting parts back the next week or two. It was 75 and sunny here on Saturday. Time to get moving before gas gets back to $4.00/gallon.
