http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4..._cleardiff.jpg This diff. cover just cracks me up.. the video is dark but the cover is 100% clear. Just cracks me up seeing the stuff go round:lolhit: I figure any water or moisture that gets in there I`ll be able to tell, along with how dirty it gets and the level.. I smacked a curb a couple months ago in a winter storm so I was in there changing the axle.. figured what the hell:evilb: |

Looks good Mark.

Got the drives on, filled with oil, steering on. Ran both motors on the hose in the driveway, fixed a couple of water leaks.
Ready for sea trials, set the timing etc. Anybody splash yet?? |

Going to drag the Mastercraft out tomorrow put an impellor in it and charge the battery and have it in the lift by the weekend. 2 out of 3 in the water this week. Next will be a trip to Florida for OVERACTIVE :grinser010:
OK Sydwayz I don't want to read about any of this on Facebook either :lolhit: |
Don't blame me! It was my roommate!

At least this isn't a thread hijack because it has been a "winter project" getting rid of her :waffen093: |
Went on sea trials yesterday. Boat ran great! Small exhaust leak and some other minor junk. Now just need to put the engine hatch back on and hopefully use the boat some.
Bueller?? Bueller?? |
Oh and it looks like the battery went bad on the GPS antenna again. Weird because I think I changed that last year.

After all the work I'm running around first pleasure cruise after shakedown, stop to talk to a buddy and one of my starters shats the bed. Just goes to show ya...
|
And get this, put a new battery in my GPS antenna and still didn't work. Call Livorsi and find out that they have to do some reprogramming along with the new battery and they don't do the battery change/reprogram service anymore. New antenna on the way. This one doesn't have a battery.

Bueller, Bueller?

Man I am so behind! I got the 850s done and started all over with a set of 1000s
Now its time to splash and I have one engine ready to install. The other block is still in the crate. I have everything to build it. Just have to get it to the machine shop for its first go around. I pulled the Sonic out of the garage and gave it a good going over. Im going to put it in tomorrow. Maby the Thunder will be sone soon. |
You thought 850's weren't going be enough in a 32????
850's should put the boat well into the triple digits. Probably 110mph or so and will be plenty to destroy the drives and leave stains in your shorts:eek::eek: |

Very nice, lots of HP for the 32, cant wait to see a video of it running. Should blow the bikini tops off the ladys. LOL

Quick question for the CULT. I'v noticed that some of you guys have a sleeve on your engine hatch actuator that is blue and has "active thunder" on it. I have finished all my projects as of today and thought that would be a nice finishing touch.

I don't think I've seen this sleeve before......Pics?
It may be a little late for a winter project but my drives are off and getting a checkup. I got a call today that one of them was about to come apart. I guess I'm in for a set of gears and bearings. Man I love this hobby!:D |

So now I have everything top to bottom brand new. I know its overkill but what else is there to do? Im looking for a 37/38 hull with out power. I'll be looking for Out drives as the wallet lets me. (may be a while) |
FYI, My boat had 750-800hp engines when it was originally built at AT and has stellings boxes and it still has the original 1.36 Bravos. It ran 103mph according to the original owner.
