Terrible ride in anything over 1-2'. I have to say they are built well given mine stayed together pretty well over the five years of running hard on the lower Chesapeake Bay. Me, not so much.

Just not in the same league as AT. But then again the 340 really only has 30' of hull in the water after you deduct the 3' platform and 1' notch in the transom.

You must be the only person in history (except maybe laz since you mention him) that got beat up in anything over 1-2' waves in a vyper... Seriously. Are you a quadriplegic? I mean 1-2' in a 25' boat is plenty manageable. I mean I know AT's are a very nice boat but come on lol

The PQ vyper is a very nice family size hull and has a great ride with a very large cabin and deep cockpit. But when it gets snotty out trust me not so much fun. You will be wishing you where in the A/T. Mine was a straight hull with 500HP's and ran very well in a 1-2 chop but that was about it.

There is nothing besides an AT! Comparable yes, but an AT is worth waiting for & as the slogan goes "exactly like nothing else" I think it sums up the original question quite well.
