Hi Mike,
I've been wanting to do the Tickfaw for a few years now, timing just hasn't been right. Pretty sure you did it last year, keep in touch if you're thinking about this spring. We're interested and have family in the area. What are you talking about not wanting snow, that's grounds for being shot! By the way, I do ride!:D

All passengers would be nice and secure for those cruiser wakes on big weekends.

Good ideas. At LOTO, every foot counts as its just nasty water (4ft waves like a washing machine). My slip is 10x30 with 3 foot overhang allowance and after research it seems the 33AT is the best wave crusher I can fit. Plus we like trailering to poker runs a lot and being limited to a 33ft makes pulling easier. Talking to AJ for an hour the other day really answered a lot of my questions/concerns. My preference in a 33AT is center entry with 525s/600s with SCX4s or 700s/NXTs and no sink/toilet/etc. I'm not sure yet if I want one boat to do it all or have a family boat and dedicated poker run boat. One thing is for sure, the 292 is definitely too slow for the poker/fun runs we do. Just in case we chose the AT, I'm putting in a 12k lbs lift in my slip.

I agree on looking for a 32 from a numbers standpoint. There are at least 10 times as many of them as there are 33's.
I've seen a handful of 32's get bought and sold over the past few years. There are always a few 32's not listed that could probably be bought.

rsteiny's been saying that for 6+ years:lolhit:

My thoughts are everywhere right now. I can say with confidence that the 33 is the ultimate boat for me. What has me confused is to keep what I have until I can pull off a 33 or get an in between boat while working towards the 33?

Ughhh! All these decisions...I got to start playing the lottery so I don't have to stress over fun things!

Sommer...I don't know about you but I keep going between here and HCS and when typing a message, I keep using boat and sled in the wrong forum and have to go back and change it so I don't look like a bigger idiot than I already am! :lolhit:

AJ POWERPLAY 12-05-2012 06:57 AM

HCS is hilarious... One of the only sites where the chit-storms rival this site!

sommerfliesby 12-05-2012 07:19 AM

I frequent a bunch of different forums...boating, snowmobiling and mountain bike related. Hardcore Sledder has easily the largest amount of stupid.

Gladhe8er 12-05-2012 08:26 AM

I am on a lot of differnet sites and my highest post count is on HCS. Tons of morons over there and lots of people who have nothing better to do than post 100 times a day. I think that Capt Storm guy has like 80,000 posts!

80,000!!!! That makes R'Addiction look like a slacker!!!! Actually where is he... slacker... I think he got a job or something so he never posts anymore!:party-smiley-004:

There is a 32 that is "mildly" for sale. The owner should post shortly.

Thunderstruck 12-05-2012 08:52 AM

I am interested in selling my 32. Please PM me and we can talk. I have a ton of options for a person to get into a 32 at the right price.

Hey it was your bro that told me! :p

302Sport 12-06-2012 09:46 AM

Going off of past sale prices that Ive heard, it would be safe to say that an 09 33 on a trailer, without power (if you figure a used set of 525's to be worth $30K), would be worth about $50K....

Drock78 12-06-2012 09:50 AM

We are referring to a 98 32...complete minus power

I don't know.. I dont usually buy and sell boats. I do know that its more than I can spend on a boat with no power. If the high dollar drives were pulled and replaced w stock bravos...$35k??

So you think a 2009 33 AT is worth 80k with 525efi's?????:lolhit::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes :

What you think you know is based on the price of one boat that needed some work.

302Sport 12-06-2012 12:40 PM

Yeah that's what it sold for and the work it needed was very minor. Just a good old cleaning would've done a number on it. It was an 09 that ran 93mph the last day we used it and was used for 3 months a year for 3 summers. How bad could it have been? That's not even one year of use on a south Florida boat...

DRP 12-06-2012 01:52 PM

Where the hell was I when that thing was being sold!?!? I would have been fine with no power.

Drock78 12-06-2012 02:04 PM

Said boat need a really good cleaning, new bow hatches, could have used some touch up work, a pin on the drive was broken and he might have put 5hrs of actual run time on it before it shat a motor...there's a reason it sold for $80k...IMO BUT what do I know
