Default Savage speeds?

What are realistic top speeds for a savage with a full load, 4 people, cooler, half to 3/4 tank of fuel?

With 500hp, 600hp, 700hp, 800hp?

How much power has someone put in a savage?

525 EFI - labbed prop, 1 person, 1/4 tank, perfect conditions - 72.9 MPH GPS

3-4 people, 3/4 tank -67.5-69 MPH usually.

Maybe OCD will chime in. I believe these are his speeds:
500EFI with procharger(750ish HP): mid 80's
500EFI: 67 MPH

He does have an IMCO drive which probably robs 1-2 MPH.

Do you have a particular hull in mind already? 2004 and later will be a few ticks faster as the hull was tweaked a bit.

I do not, and I was unaware that there were differences, good to know though. The newer ones don't have a step, correct? Is it a pad or a notch that makes them a little quicker? I'm still trying to decide if I want a stand up or a sit down boat. If I decide on stand up I think AT wins hands down, I just don't know how much "wave crushing" ability I really need for inland lakes though i'm sure the passengers would appreciate it.

The other hull that i'm interested in is a 29' kryptonite, completely different beast.

No notch or pad or anything. The earlier ones has more of a rocker in the center of the hull (lengthwise) due to HP of the engine packages of the day. With props, drives, and more modern technology, the straight bottom got a little straighter after 2004.
