29 Hydro P5x with a slight lab finish 12% slip

Are you going up to Boyne Thunder? I have a set of Hydro's that your welcome to try but I doubt you will be able to spin the all the way up. I think they are 33s so as I say I doubt you could spin them too high but you could still get a feel for them.

They say 30s on them or were they worked on to be 29s


Only saw between 52-53 at 3500rpm and ~57-58 at 3800rpm depending on water conditions.....but never saw 60pmh at 3500 since I took delivery ....so about 58hrs put on so far from me...184hr total.

My bad! Receipt does say 30. Sorry bout that.

I think I remember Laszlo talking about his 29's, but the guy at Hydromotve figured I would need to go up to 30 being in the salt.

John, since you run in fresh, you should consider sending them in for labbing. You will want to get the Bravos tuned first. I had a local prop shop tune them and was not thrilled with the results.

so we have the same year boat, and mine is about exactly the same as yours. at 3500 rpm my boat runs 51 mph and 60 at 4000 and tops out at 80 maybe 81 at 5200 w 4blade 32p bravo 1. so r you running 5 blades? brand? pitch?

Macklin same issue here, cant remember if was 29 or 30 with final #'s. I will have to look... Either Hydromotive or BBlades both great shops...
