I was looking at pics of 525's a few weeks ago and was wondering why Mercury used a ugly black plastic pulley for the idler pulley. It got me to thinking about how hard it would be to machine one of these and find a bearing to work with it. Just so happens Hardin Marine has a few custom pulley setups and lists the dimensions on the website. I had Travis measure the factory pulley and compare to Hardin's billet idler pulley, turns out they are identical. They come in polished finish online and then Eddie makes a call to the owner and these show up in blue anodized to match the factory blue pulleys.

So this upgrading is almost coming to a end now. I have received a pics of motor installs and now the new CMI tails have been fitted in to their home, replacing the old silent choice diverters we did away with. Thanks to Donnie @ Offshore Performance Specialties for quick shipment on the CMI parts. I'll be posting a few more pics of the final install now that the SCX's are on and finish reinstalling the hydraulic steering. Add some fluids to everything and then its time to fire them up in the boat finally. Here's a few pics I have for now.

That's been taken care of now, I've got a good set of Timken bearings for them. Those are just what they came with.

Thank you very much!! You should bring yours to Kuttawa Cannonball Run this June 3rd and 4th. It's looking like we are going to have quite a few AT's there this year.

It will be a great time for sure if you can make it. Friday is a easy lunch run and raft up and then Saturday is the long run, as well as after party. Well night time at the marina is always a party. lol We will be at Lake Cumberland for the Thunder run a few weeks later as well as the fall poker run.
