I am only 32 and I am slowing down a lot. If you don't get your ride in a 37avh in Fla next time you are down there, you have an open inviation to LBI for a ride in the first millenium edition 37avh, my friend.

The ride in the AT was great....H20 would probably had even more fun if I hadn't been in the boat!!!! (I'm a little scared of that big water!) Still....I got in...held on...and shut up...just like they say and it was a fantastic ride. I saw 70 mph out of the corner of a tightly squeezed shut eye. Pat went easy because of me. After we rode for a while though, I was ready to go back out and open it up to see what she would do. I know H20 will post more...he is just trying to decide now which is his favorite. As far as I'm concerned...It was fantastic!

Tbikini,
I am glad that you had a good time. Maybe you could also let us know how the rides compared from your point of view. I know that my wife was concerned that all my reports were from other men. She had a preference when we tested our boats. It might help some other boaters and other boaters better half
to hear your comparision. Which ride did you like better?
etc. Thanks for letting us know.

H20, you're not being very nice. You should being giving us your feedback already. We're all suffering from weather forced boating withdrawal and you're supposed to be helping us through it. So, step up and give us your thoughts! What color is your Active Thunder going to be????

I think the better choice would be to get the 500 efi and later on supercharge it, its way more cost effective and powerful. As a matter of fact I think your boat Thunder Dan , would look good with a Procharger, and on mine I will wipplecharge it and see which one fairs out better. By the way I got those prices with installation 4500-Procharger 6400-Whipplecharger slightly more hp 25 and 60 more torque but starts at bottom end, doesnt have to spool up. Just 1900 more per side, tough decision.

I thik one of you should get an Eickert 675 and the other the 650hp Sterling Poker Run motor. You could each get a Bravo Shop B-Max or Speedmaster IIIAs and then see which runs faster. I bet with some herring props and some dial-in time, you'd both run 102-104mph, possibly a bit more. Now, wouldn't that be fun? Imagine, you could pass much more powerful machines with some throttle to spare.
